Welcome to Sixteen Questions, a new series I’m starting here on No Score. In this series I’ll be interviewing friends and strangers asking an evolving set of, you guessed it, sixteen questions.
Our debut guest is one of my best friends, Joey Sardella. Joey and I first met back in 2021 at a mutual friend's birthday party and we’ve been friends ever since. Joey has a wealth of knowledge about almost everything and I’ve never seen him wear a bad outfit. He’s a multi-instrumentalist, writer, stylist, and a lot more. His talent and personality far surpass any bio I could write here so I’ll stop while I’m ahead. Here are his sixteen answers.
What’s your favorite water brand?
Evian but Fiji is a close second.
Wired or wireless headphones?
I use wired headphones.
Martinis, yes or no?
Yes, but never dirty. I don’t fuck with olives like that.
Favorite artist dead or alive
Jean Michel Basquiat or Claude Monet.
What’s your favorite article of clothing in your closet right now?
My black Issey Miyake x Tete Homme pants.
Gold or silver jewelry?
Silver.
What’s your favorite restaurant at the moment?
My favorite restaurants right now, that I have regular access to, are Locust (high brow) and Frankie's Pizzeria (casual).
New York or LA?
New York, but I do love LA.
If you could wear only one shoe for the rest of your life what would it be?
Sneaker: 70’s Converse, Non-sneaker: Kleman Padror.
What’s a movie, album, and book you’re loving at the moment?
Movie: Fantastic Mr. Fox

What’s your ideal morning look like?
Rip a quick workout and stretch, eat a nice protein filled breakfast with some fruit, head to Weak Coffee with Isabel (my fiance) to see friends and maybe snag a bagel. Knocking all of this out in the morning and having a full day ahead of me is the perfect off day.
What’s your ideal evening look like?
Ideal evening would be hanging out with Isabel or hanging out with her and some of our friends. We’d start the evening with a glass of wine on the back porch at golden hour till sunset then walk over to Lou for a nice dinner and dessert. We’d cap the night off with a drink and some card games at Village Pub then walk back home to read and go to bed.
What are two things that are out and two things that are in?
Out: Carhartt and being ironic about sports
In: Chic Classic and healthy snacks (not in a shaming way)
What’s one summer essential?
Linen garments that can be used in your daily rotation (i.e. pants or shorts)
What’s inspiring you most right now?
My friends and being surrounded by caring, loving, and creative people.
What are you working on right now?
Planning a wedding with Isabel, working on music with my band Tiny Party (just dropped a new EP called “Bamboozled”), and working on some solo stuff very slowly. I’m trying to grow more and more as a writer and musician.
