So many talented people often find themselves lost, not because they lack vision or a voice, but because they don’t have the right people around them. So much of life is a collaborative effort, and who you collaborate with can change everything. Today’s guest is someone that helps bring life to all of the projects she touches. In a world where surrounding yourself with good people is key, she’s someone you want next to you. Carrie K is a multi-instrumentalist, producer, songwriter, and my neighbor. What’s your coffee shop order?
Long black, or black drip coffee.
What’s your go-to studio snack?
Chomps Meat Sticks, any flavor.
What’s your favorite cheap beer?
Tecate.

What’s your ideal morning look like?
Wake up, go on a run before my husband and dogs wake up, then have coffee outside.
What’s your ideal evening look like?
Walking to dinner with friends at a good restaurant, then a drink at home by the fire.
What are two things that are out and two things that are in?
Out: Fiddle Leaf Figs. Sugar coating the truth.
In: Jackets that look like blankets. Being sad.
What’s inspiring you most right now?
My friendships.
What are you working on right now?
I unfortunately can’t say what I am currently working on just yet, but I’m super proud of Maggie Antone’s album I just finished, ‘Rhinestoned’, the Sam Barber album that’s coming out soon, and an Mxmtoon album that’s about to come out that I co-produced with my friend Chloe Kramer:)
